Preparation depends on how the structure is built
Sheds, mini barns, and storage buildings
Wood, metal, and resin structures can be reviewed when they have a sound frame or base and a workable access path. Built-in shelving, contents, anchors, and utility connections may require preparation.
Workshops and small cabins
Larger or heavier portable buildings usually need more exact measurements and route planning. Porches, awnings, skirting, interior finishes, plumbing, and electrical connections should be identified early.
Gazebos and pavilions
Construction style, post connections, roof shape, width, and lifting points determine whether one-piece relocation is realistic or disassembly needs discussion.
Playhouses
Small does not always mean light. Platforms, slides, swings, railings, and tall rooflines may need removal or separate handling before transport.
Chicken coops
Animals, bedding, feed, water, and loose equipment should be removed. Runs, fencing, nest-box projections, and attached wheels or skids need to be included in the dimensions.
Small greenhouses
Glazing, frames, vents, benches, irrigation, and anchoring make greenhouse moves highly case-specific. Fragile panels may need removal and secure packing before the frame is transported.
